I'm the typical melancholic individual who keeps feelings and opinions verbally repressed, but 'alternatively' expressed; all the while, trying to appear normal and acceptable. Enough is enough! So, I have begun a quest to keep it real with the people in my life...and with myself. For starters, this blog will facilitate my cognitive and emotional ventilation process...
As a spiritual person, I try daily to move in a positive and upright direction. I'm a national of both USA and Trinidad & Tobago. While being sensitive, caring, and ferociously loyal (yeh I said ferocious...lol) to my intimate circle of friends and family, I am slow -yet wanting and willing--to open up to new people. I like to be social, although most of the time I prefer my own company. I spend my spare pennies and time traveling the globe because this is one activity that has never failed to capture my passion and joy....that and salsa dancing! Those who know me the best would say that I have a tendency to be melodramatic in expression...I think this gives me a creative edge when performing with my sister our home made video parodies of film classics, such as The Color Purple....
